Program Outline
– Racing Ladies - Fall 2009
We
are starting Tuesday, September 8, 9:00AM @ Warms Springs Lifts.Remember this is YOUR group; the program
is informal and not advertised, but you are encouraged to recruit new participants.
Training
every week from September to Thanksgiving.Training will start easy to get the ski motions back into the
blood and soul, then be progressive in content and as we improve.
There are
11 weeks available; I plan to be present throughout. You will get a detailed assignment I would miss for
some reason.
The Fall Program will integrate a crude nuts-and-bolts training plan
for the period in weekly/monthly increments. This will include your Heart Rate based intensity data, etc.(This is a straight forward training guide, although not a detailed day-by-day personal training plan).
You need poles and HR monitor if you have/prefer one.

What
we do:
This
is a pre-season cross-country ski conditioning program for fitness oriented skiers and recreational/citizen racers as well
as people doing other endurance sports.Sounds serious? Not really, it is exactly what you are doing; cycling, mountain running, climbing, etc.
The program is built around motion specific
ski training and physical conditioning in monitored and controlled effort and the program has years of proven success
This is a fun group, the participants are supportive of each other, and the activities
aim for individual physical development rather than competition against each other.
Although training
per definition is repetitive, we try to do something new and different to keep it stimulating and stay on top of new developments
in our sport. The training rolls into winter skiing
as soon as the snow comes.
